Sunshine Blogger Award

I'm so excited because I got nominated by the amazing Benita J. Prins.  I love her blog, it's a lot about LOtR, which is reason enough for you to follow her. =)  Go check out her blog, everyone, and thanks, Benita, for this tag!!

The rules:
–Thank the person who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
–Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
–Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
–List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.

Benita asked me these questions:

1. Who is your favourite actor/actress and why?  Oh, my...I can't choose just one.  Sean Astin, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Scarlett Johansson, Billie Piper, and David Tennant are a few of my favorites.

2. How many languages do you speak well enough to hold a conversation?  Just one, and that's English.  I do know a bit of Latin, but really, who am I going to speak Latin with?

3. What is the last book you read that you couldn’t put down?  Either Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, or Where the Woods Grows Wild by Nate Philbrick.  I was reading both of those around the same time.

4. What is one genre you would never read?  Erotic fiction.  Reading it goes against my morals, and it's gross anyway.

5. Do you have any unique quirks?  Well I'm left handed, which isn't really a quirk...but close enough. ;)

6. What’s the best book-to-movie adaptation you’ve ever seen?  The Lord of the Rings, Extended Editions.

7.  Do you like maps?  I LOVE maps.  They're my favorite.  In 6th grade, I went to the State Geography Bee because I like maps so much, and I still do, just as much.

8. How often do you write by hand compared to typing?  Not often, let's be real.  Generally I take notes by hand, but type anything longer.

9. Which author’s books can you never resist picking up?  Anything by Jeanne Birdsall, my favorite childhood author (don't laugh).

10.  What is your favourite letter of the alphabet?  The letter L, naturally. =)

11. How much chocolate do you consume on a weekly basis?  Too much. ;)

So here's all the blogs I nominate!! =D

Gabriela Paige

Ellen Smith

Alea Harper

Jonathan Trout

Hannah Heath

S.M. Metzler

Jeneca Z

Katelyn Buxton

Abby Hoffman

Katie Nichols

Abigayle Ellison

Okay, guys, here's the questions you'll need to answer!

1.  If you could only read one fictional book for the rest of your life, what would it be?

2.  What type of computer do you use for blogging?

3.  What was the last album you listened to straight through?

4.  What is your favorite holiday sweet?

5.  Are you known for making a signature dish or food?  If so, what is it?

6.  Would you consider your handwriting to be sloppy or neat (or somewhere in between)?

7.  What is the awesomest-looking book you own, and why?

8.  Name your three biggest fandoms.

9.  Favorite childhood movie?

10.  Pizza or tacos?

11.  Name three books that everyone on earth should read.

Okay, this should be fun!!!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!  See you guys next week! :)

  3. Latin is the best!! I find it's a lot more intuitive than that smorgasbord of languages known as English, even if I only have a rudimentary education on it. Which do you prefer more?

Anyways, proper introductions. Hi, I'm Thomas Reither from LuxFilii.blogspot.com. I've been following your blog for a while now, just haven't had the gumption to say hi until now. Incidentally, I find it pretty cool that you're on SoundCloud, the world needs more musical bloggers. It looks like we'll be releasing Christmas albums around the same time, pretty excited about that! :D

    1. Yes, I do really like Latin! I feel like Latin is a good framework on which you can build a lot of different languages. The thing is...I haven't ever exactly LEARNED other languages besides English of course...but French is on my to-do list. ;)

Hi Thomas!! I was talking to Jonathan yesterday, and he mentioned you...YOU'RE FROM WISCONSIN TOO RIGHT?! I live in Northern WI. Also I'm going to follow your blog right now. =D
